Webbers Taunton were delighted to celebrate the incredible success of their recent charity event, held on November 30th at Quantock Brewery. With the unwavering support and generosity of the local community, over £1600 was raised for two fantastic charities: Young Lives vs Cancer and Bibic.

Sweet Thanks to Dough Bros Bakery 


A special thank-you goes to Dough Bros Bakery, whose donation of 100 delicious doughnuts was a highlight of the evening. Their generosity not only delighted guests but also reflected their dedication to supporting local causes. Webbers Taunton were so grateful for their support and look forward to future collaborations.

Gratitude to Berenson's Solicitors

Heartfelt thanks also went to Berenson's Solicitors in Taunton for their wonderful hamper, which was one of the standout prizes at the charity auction. Their contribution added an extra touch of excitement and helped raise vital funds for the supported charities.

A Night of Fun and Fundraising


The event was a true celebration of community spirit, filled with fun activities and entertainment. Highlights of the evening included:

  • Bingo: Guests enjoyed an evening of laughter and excitement as they competed for fantastic prizes.
  • Auction: A variety of incredible items and experiences—including the beautiful hamper from Berenson's Solicitors—were up for grabs in the charity auction.
  • Live Music: A local band kept the energy alive with their fantastic performance.
  • Food: From the irresistible doughnuts provided by Dough Bros to two fabulous food vans, there was plenty of delicious fare for everyone.
  • DJ: The night ended on a high as the DJ brought the party to life with amazing music.
     

Webbers Centenary Ale: Raising a Glass to Charity


For one night only, attendees could enjoy a pint of Webbers Centenary Ale at The Tap Room in Bishops Lydeard, with a portion of every pint sold going towards the supported charities. Huge thanks were extended to Quantock Brewery for brewing this special ale and supporting the event so generously.

Supporting Vital Causes


All proceeds from the event will go directly to Young Lives vs Cancer, helping children and families affected by cancer, and Bibic, which supports children with disabilities and developmental challenges. The funds raised will make a real difference in the lives of those these charities support.
