We at Webbers Estate Agents are thrilled to announce that Exmoor Young Voices has been nominated for Young Changemakers of the Year at the National Park Protector Awards 2024, organised by the Campaign for National Parks! This recognition honours the passion, commitment, and incredible efforts of young people and volunteers working tirelessly to protect and enhance the future of our National Parks.

A Prestigious Achievement

Before diving into the details, we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge an incredible milestone: Exmoor Young Voices has also been awarded The King’s Award for Voluntary Service 2024 — the highest accolade for volunteer groups across the UK, equivalent to an MBE. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this happen! This achievement is a testament to the dedication, community spirit, and invaluable impact of Exmoor Young Voices. As Ginny Saunders, Exmoor Property Director for Webbers and Fine & Country, and Trustee and Adviser to Exmoor Young Voices, says:

“Young people on Exmoor can often face unique challenges, and Exmoor Young Voices serves as a powerful example of the positive impact that a group of committed volunteers can make. Through their hard work and community spirit, they have built a vital support system, empowering the younger generation and creating a brighter future for Exmoor.

It is inspiring to see how Exmoor Young Voices have united businesses, authorities, and community members to build a strong support network. Winning this award, which is equivalent to an MBE, is a testament to the invaluable impact the charity has on the lives of young people and the community as a whole. Thank you for all the behind-the-scenes work that they do to make a lasting difference. This prestigious recognition is undoubtedly a remarkable achievement and a proud moment for everyone connected with Exmoor Young Voices.”
